Banking on the success of its worldwide restaurants that feature attractive and often well-endowed waitresses, Hooters has launched a free-play poker site in the state of Illinois.
The social Hooters Internet site, which also markets the locations of its Illinois restaurants, is awarding a multitude of prizes to winners of free online poker tournaments. The prizes include gift certificates for items from Hooters restaurants, various poker-related apparel, and free entries to live tournaments to such events as the Heartland Poker Tour.
"Hooters is one of the world’s most recognisable brands, and response to the test launch of their free-to-play poker platform has been phenomenal," said a spokesperson for Amber Gaming, the company providing the online poker software. The site can be accessed by Illinois residents at HootersPokerOnline.com.
